The Quamby LAN goes online!

Friday 14/6/02 10:30pm - Good news people ... the Quamby LAN now has internet capabilities ! The purchase of a Microna internet router means that any computer connected to the Quamby LAN will have access to a cable, Adsl or isdn internet connection ... that is when we get one of the above ... at the moment you will have to make do with our trusty 56k modem and hope that noone else is using the connection at the same time ... well anyway it was worth mentioning meerly for the fact that the router also doubles as a 10/100 meg switch increasing the amount of LAN connections available at the next Quamby LAN (though unfortunatly it does not make the room bigger in any way or supply the tables and chairs needed) lol ...

Thursday 6/6/02 3:30pm - First News For the Quamby LAN website ... after finishing my uni exams today ... i thought i'd get in the finishing mood .. and finish uploading my webpage ... so here it is .. all of it .. including the Rules and Origins page. For all those hanging out for the next LAN ... don't hold your breath ... i don't think it can be any time before 27th of july ... and even thats pushing it ... we shall see ... though you all should get the proclamation email for this website ... and I'll email you when anything is made definite.
